[ ABOUT NUS DANCE BLAST! ]

NUS Dance BLAST! is a member of NUS Centre for The Arts (CFA). She was formed in September 2001.

Initiated by a group of students with a keen interest in Hip-Hop dance and guided by Resident Choreographer, Patrick Loo, the group aims to promote the Hip-Hop spirit to the wider community. Of utmost importance is the Hip-Hop spirit – positivity in life, freedom and passion.

[ ABOUT THE RESIDENT CHOREOGRAPHER ]

A very experienced dance instructor and choreographer in the Singapore dance scene, Patrick Loo has performed for many different corporate and media programmes including MediaCorp, Motorola, and the President's Star Charity Show. He has also conducted courses for MediaCorp, Nanyang Technological University, 5678 Dance Studio, Dance Arts and other institutions.

With over 15 years of experience, Patrick is able to train, coordinate and choreograph within a wide range of stage productions. He has extensive knowledge in movement-based presentations, television project conceptualization, variety programming, and live product launchs. Focused, determined and articulate, Patrick is a meticulous planner who exemplifies and inspires passion, and is able to galvanise teams to deliver projects that transcend cultural boundaries as well as appeal to diverse audiences of all ages in some of world's toughest markets.
